Every 40 minutes somewhere on earth, somebody receives a new Habitat for Humaniy home. When you help someone get a decent place to live, you're not just building a home, you're building hopes, dreams, families, communities. You're building peoples' lives - one square foot at a time. You can help by picking up a hammer, donating some building materials, or by picking up the phone and making a tax deductible contribution.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is dedicated to ensuring the development of a cure for Parkinson's disease within this decade through an aggressively funded research agenda. Enormous progress toward finding a cure has been made on many neurological fronts, and scientists' understanding of the brain and how disease affects it has increased dramatically. The Foundation seeks to hasten progress further by awarding grants that help guarantee that new and innovative research avenues are thoroughly funded and explored.

OUR MISSION: TO BUILD an UNDERSTANDING of all peoples. To speak to the youth, the future of our global community, about the basic human right of equality, so that a civilized society will, in the next millennium, finally result.
WE TEACH YOUTHS that regardless of one's religion, ethnicity, nationality or skin colour, we are all ONE PEOPLE, to prevent youths from adopting prejudiced attitudes.

Shortly after his funeral, two police officers, their friends and the boy's mother turned their sorrow into an idea to help other children with life threatening illnesses to realize their wishes.
